Rare Yellow Fruit with White Flesh
This rare Yellow Dragon Fruit (Selenicereus megalanthus) is available at Sow Exotic for a limited time! Native to parts of South America, Dragon Fruit, also known as Pitahaya, is an ornamental climbing cactus with enormous, impressive flowers and snow-white flesh that tastes like a fruity, pillowy cloud of deliciousness.
Part of the “moonlight cactus” family native to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, many dragon fruit relatives produce flowers that open only at night. Yellow Dragon Fruit is self-pollinating and easy to grow, making it a particularly exciting addition to a tropical garden or food forest.

The fruit is prized for its beautiful appearance and refreshing, sweet flesh and is commonly eaten fresh or blended into drinks, smoothies, and desserts.
