A compact landscape rose that opens soft apricot and warms to a sun-kissed blush, blooming from spring straight through summer.
The Champion™ Sunblush Rose is a tidy, free-flowering shrub rose bred for color that shifts beautifully as each bloom matures. Plump buds unfurl into full, romantic, many-petaled flowers in warm apricot tones that soften to creamy blush and pink as they age, so the plant carries several shades at once across its rounded, 3 to 4 foot frame. Glossy green foliage and a naturally bushy habit make it as much a landscape plant as a flower — equally at home anchoring a sunny border, lining a path, or filling a large container on the patio.
Why growers choose the Champion™ Sunblush
Long bloom window. Flowers arrive in spring and keep coming through summer in repeated flushes, giving you color across the warmest months rather than one short show.
Color that evolves. Apricot buds mature to blush and soft pink, so the shrub shows a living gradient of tones on the same plant.
Cold-hardy and adaptable. Reliable in USDA zones 5 through 9, it shrugs off real winters while still thriving in hot, sunny summers.
Right-sized habit. A rounded 3 to 4 foot mound fits foundation beds, smaller yards, and mixed borders without taking over.
Garden-worthy foliage. Healthy, glossy green leaves set off the warm flowers and keep the plant looking full from spring to frost.
Use it as a flowering hedge along a walk, a repeat-blooming accent in a mixed perennial border, a centerpiece in a large patio pot, or a steady source of cut stems for the house. Wherever it lands in full sun, the Champion™ Sunblush earns its keep with months of warm, layered color.
