Bright Mauve-Pink Blooms From Mid-Fall Straight Through Winter
When the rest of the garden starts winding down, Just Chill® Double Mauve turns up the volume. Big anemone-style flowers in bright mauve-pink open over fluffy golden centers, glowing against leathery, deep green evergreen leaves. New growth pushes out with a rich burgundy tint, so there is color and texture even between bloom cycles.
At 5-8 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide, it is bold enough to stand alone as a specimen and refined enough for a flowering hedge, border, or mass planting. It is heat tolerant, deer resistant, and disease resistant, and the blooms cut beautifully for arrangements. In mild climates, expect waves of color from mid-fall through winter. Large containers on a sheltered patio work well too, giving you flexibility in tight spaces.
Why You'll Love the Just Chill® Double Mauve Camellia
Off-season color: Bright mauve-pink flowers start in mid-fall and keep going through winter in mild zones.
Year-round structure: Glossy dark evergreen foliage holds the line all four seasons, with burgundy-tinted new growth.
Blooms on new wood: Easier timing on pruning and reliable flower production as the plant grows.
Low-hassle performer: Deer resistant, disease resistant, and heat tolerant once established.
Landscape flexibility: Works as a hedge, foundation planting, border anchor, or large patio container.
Plant one and let the garden party keep going after everything else clocks out.
